i was obsessed with her belly dancing as a kid, to the point of lifting my shirt to the other kids in kindergarden and rolling my belly lol. i remember the first music video i ever watched, i even remember the specific scene that mesmerized me, which was "hips dont lie" and the scene where she belly dances in the dark with the gold specs on her back; i loved that scene so much, and when she was dancing in the white clothes with the other women, and the ending shot of course, with there being multiple of her, all fading into each other - imprinted into my 5 yo brain.

an inspiring producer, always experimenting and playing around with music. made one of my top 3 albums of all times, "speak for yourself", legiiiiit listen to it. bought my first ever music merch from her, her vinyl and cd :)

Madonna

only got into her a lot more in 2025 - i never got the hype but i do now. loving forbidden love, all ray of light, hung up ofc, more that i've forgotten whilst writing this.

Malibu

beautiful ambient soundscapes, always dreamy, she makes some of my favorite music in the world.

Rihanna

has made so many amazing songs, no words for her catalog. i still keep discovering from her.

Avicii

never fails, always makes it feel like summer when i was a child, the 2010s.

Brian Eno

also very beautiful soundscapes, dreamy, feels like a peaceful life out in space.

Kiss Facility

arabic shoegaze band, favorite songs are black stone and flesh mix, so beautiful.

Sega Bodega

sick producer, one of the members in kiss facility. loved his music for years, my absolute favorite is Cicada n u should def listen to it.
